Guide to Europe: Best time to visit

Europe Bucket List - Guide to Europe

Europe is less crowded and cheaper to visit outside of the summer months unless you’re traveling for a specific event such as Oktoberfest in Germany or the Tulip Festival in April in the Netherlands.

There really isn’t a bad time to visit Europe but you will find it much more enjoyable if you can avoid the crowds. If you’re trying to avoid the cold months, you might want to visit in May or September when the weather is nice and the crowds are low and it will still be warm.
