What is a Bucket List?

The term bucket list is usually defined as a list of things you want to accomplish before you die. Sounds morbid, right? Obviously you can name your list anything you want. Life goals, adventure list, wish list, whatever you want. This list can be things you want to do in life or places you want to see. Anything from starting a business to climbing Mt Everest. You can make it as long or as short as you want but getting those goals out of your head and written down is what’s important. Just seeing those goals written down on paper reminds you to actually work towards those goals.

Why I made my own Bucket List

Back in 2015 we were just living our lives doing the things everyone does: working, taking care of kids, going out to eat, bbqing on the weekends, and starting all over again on Monday. I started thinking about all the places I wanted to see but wasn’t. So I got out a piece of paper and wrote down my top 5 places I wanted to see and made the goal of seeing those places within the next 5 years. By 2018, just 3 years later, I had marked 4 out of those 5 places off my list. I still have yet to see that 5th place however, I have been to many others since then.

Below is my bucket list of places I HAVE to see and a few things I’d like to do. This list will continue to grow. My list of places I want to visit is always growing! Just putting it out there in the universe!
